I am a 37-year old single white female and currently a 3rd year Veterinary Student at NC State University. After finishing my 2nd year, otherwise known as "hell," I am refreshed and ready to start 3rd year, which will prepare me for "hell #2," or clinics, my 4th year! UPDATE - I just started my 4th year!

I've had about 100,00 jobs in my lifetime and will be starting my memoirs soon! This summer I've been working at a major pharmaceutical company in the Veterinary Pathology/Toxicology Department. It's been very educational.

Plan to work in a mixed animal practice after graduation and get the heck back out into the country. I like outdoor activities, movies, reading, and my zoo.

Currently, the animal count is: 4 dogs (one deaf one), 4 cats, 3 cockatiels, 1 hamster (adopted from the lab at school), 1 cow, and 1 goat. All but the cow and goat are in my apartment. Happy Day!

The kitten is my newest addition, Possum. He was found under a house and brought to the clinic where I work. Like I needed another cat - but they are sorta like tattoos and potato chips - you can't have just one! Photos to follow soon!
